I have been playing for 40 years since teaching myself at the age of 11. I stopped playing for about 15 years when I discovered Rugby and women! ;-)I returned to playing when I moved to Brecon in Mid-Wales - Home of the Brecon Jazz Festival - and joined Brecon Town Band -http://www.everytime.net/btcb/- where I played for 18 years starting on 3rd and ending up on Solo clarinet. With Brecon Town Band we toured in Europe every 2 years being invited to Euro-Disney twice!I also play bass clarinet and am trying to learn alto sax! I have been known to strum a few chords on guitar - but only in private!! ;-))I have been with the NECB for almost a year and really enjoy the people and the music.
