Matthew joined the North East Concert Band at the end of 2008 and is loving every minute. He is a very talented musician, having reached standards of Grade 5 on Baritone Sax, Grade 5 on Clarinet and Grade 7 on Piano.Matthew attends Seaham Music Academy on Saturday mornings where he plays in the Wind Ensemble.He also plays bass and does backing vocals in a rock band called "Troubleshooter", who play a mix of covers and their own songs. Matthew is in Year 11 at St. Roberts School in Washington and is involved in music throughout the school.
Favourite Piece - The Stripper (because it will make his mam blush!!)

Favourite Venue - Black Cats Bar, Stadium of Light ("played a gig here with Troubleshooter it was brill")
