I've been playing in the NECB since January 09. Before that I played in the City of Swansea Concert Band for about 11 years. I've also played in other bands like the West Glamorgan Youth Orchestra, National Youth Wind Orchestra of Wales, the West Glamorgan Youth Big Band and a few different bands while at university in Sheffield.I also play the tenor saxophone and the piano (badly). I'm originally from Swansea which you can probably tell from the bands I've played in even though I don't have a welsh accent! I moved to the North East about 4 years ago to work as a Process Engineer for Siemens designing blast furnaces.In my spare time I like walking, playing netball and eating out.I'm really enjoying playing in the band and I'm looking forward to playing in my first concert with NECB.
